Global Markets utilizes SIRIX, a popular all-in-one Forex trading interface developed by Leverate. The appearance of the platform is bold and prominent, but easy to navigate. SIRIX Web is available through most browser, and there is no need to download any additional software in order to access its full functionality. Global Markets is also available through mobile app, as well as propriety desktop software which is not part of this review.

  • Desktop Web

We tested Global Markets’ desktop web interface on Google Chrome 74.0.3 and found it easy to navigate, with clean and dashing design. The platform offers quick access to all of the tools required to make successful trades without cluttering the interface with unnecessary icons or buttons. All of the menus and buttons are properly labeled, and the layout is easy to read at a glance.

  • Mobile Platform

The Global Markets trading app is available on both Android and iOS devices through Google Play and the App Store. We tested the trading application on Samsung Galaxy S10e – and found it to run smoothly. Trading through the mobile app is intuitive – maybe even more so than on desktop – and opening a position is done through a few touches on your screen. The layout of the mobile app is similar to the desktop one, which makes migrating from one platform to the other all the more easy. Download the mobile app today through Google Play or App Store and experience trading on the go.

  • Demo Account

Global Markets allso allows traders to open a demo account, with real market conditions – an invaluable tool to investors who seek to practice their trading strategies. The Demo Account uses the same interface as normal accounts, and is available on both desktop web and through the mobile apps.

  1. Global Markets Trust Level – Scam or Not?

Global Markets is based in the Seychelles, with additional offices in Europe. The platform services almost all European countries, as well as other markets throughout the world (excluding the United States), and regulated in each one of those jurisdictions. In our professional opinion, Global Markets has proven to be a 100% legit and reliable broker, compliant with all international laws and requirements, and not a scam.

    1. Account Protection

It should go without saying all personal information and private details are encrypted. As an additional security measure, Global Market allows traders to enable a two-factor authentication method for logging in.

    1. Funds Safety

Trading accounts on Global Markets are segregated, keeping trader’s funds separate from company ones. This is an important security measure which prevents capital being used for wrong purposes, dissuades scammers, and helps money ownership being correctly identified in case anything goes wrong.

Global Markets also employs Stop Out (Negative Balance Protection), making it impossible for your account balance to ever go below zero. For traders who wish to minimize potential losses and risks, the platform also allows trading with Stop-Loss and Take-Profit algorithms.

  • Currencies, Deposits & Withdrawals

  • Currencies

You can open a Global Markets account in one of the following currencies – Great British Pound, United States Dollars, or Euro. You should choose your account currency carefully – all deposits you make to your account will be converted to it, and all withdrawals will be made in the currency of your account. As a result, deposits and withdrawals may be subject to currency exchange fees, imposed by your bank or payment services provider.

A simple workaround is to open a multi-currency banking account, or register for products such as Revolut or Transferwise – both of which offer accounts in several currencies with low-cost international bank transfers.

  • Depositing

Traditional Payment Options: E-Wallets:
Credit/Debit Card Paypal
Bank transfer Skrill
Neteller

All deposits must originate from sources in your name. Global Markets does not charge investors for depositing funds into their account, and there is no upper limit to the amount of funds you can deposit. Wire transfers take 3-5 business days to appear in your account, while credit/debit card and e-wallet options are processed immediately.

  • Withdrawals

As with deposits, Global Markets does not charge traders for withdrawing funds from their accounts. In accordance with international money laundering regulations, you can only withdraw your funds to the source from which they originated. From example, if you have only used a debit card to deposit money into your Global Markets trading account, you will not be able to withdraw them to your bank account.

Opening an account with Global Markets is done completely through the online platform. The whole ordeal was easy to navigate, and comparable to opening an account in any website. After submitting your information, it takes up to a business day for your request to be processed – in our case, our account was up and running by the end of the day.

You will also need to submit a copy of your credit/debit card, with the last 4 digits visible – a standard practice for all regulated Forex trading platforms.
